1. Agreement
By downloading and using Breathe With Me, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.
2. What Breathe With Me Is — and Isn't
Breathe With Me is a contemplative-practice and breathwork companion designed to support personal reflection and mindfulness. The app is not medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, please contact a crisis helpline or emergency services in your area.
3. Health and Safety
Some breathwork practices involve breath retention, body locks, extended exhalation patterns, or other techniques that can produce physiological effects including lightheadedness, dizziness, or changes in heart rate. Always practice in a safe, stable environment. Never practice while driving, operating machinery, in water, at heights, or in any context where momentary lightheadedness could be dangerous.
If you are pregnant, have a cardiovascular or respiratory condition, a seizure disorder, or any other medical condition that breathing practices could affect, consult a qualified physician before beginning. Stop any practice immediately if it feels unsafe or causes discomfort you are not prepared for.
4. Contemplative-Practice Framing
The teachings and techniques in this app are drawn from contemplative traditions including yoga, pranayama, mantra, and various breathwork lineages. They are offered with deep respect for their origins. Practitioners and teachers credited within the app are named. Use of these teachings does not constitute initiation into any lineage and does not replace the relationship between a student and a qualified, in-person teacher. These practices are offered as a support to your own spiritual or wellness journey, not as a substitute for study with a teacher.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for the email address you use to register and for all activity that occurs under your account. Sign-in is secured by a one-time-use link sent to your email. Treat that link as sensitive and do not share it with others. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
6. Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, hack, or attack the app or its services. Do not use the app to harm yourself or others. Do not upload, publish, or share illegal content. (The primary user-writable feature is your own personal check-in journal, which remains yours and is not shared publicly.)
7. Content Ownership — Your Check-ins
Any text, reflections, or notes you write in a check-in are your own, and Breathe With Me does not claim ownership of your check-in content. The Privacy Policy describes where this content is stored and how it's handled.
8. Breathe With Me Content
All audio recordings, written guidance, technique descriptions, images, and other materials created by or for Breathe With Me are provided to you for personal practice only. You may not redistribute, republish, remix, or repackage this content without explicit written permission. This includes uploading it to other platforms, sharing it in groups or communities, or using it in derivative works.
9. Subscriptions and Payment
The app includes guided breathing sessions, the daily intention, and your journal at no charge. Premium Membership is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription that opens the premium video library. The library currently contains one complete, full-length yoga class. We intend to add more classes, and to add advanced pranayama, yoga nidra, and other courses over time, but your membership entitles you to the library as it exists at any given moment, and we do not promise any specific future class or category.
Choosing your price. Premium Membership is offered at a range of monthly prices, from $3.39 to $24.99, and you choose which one you pay. The suggested price is $7.79 per month. Every price provides the identical membership: no feature, class, or benefit depends on paying more. Prices are in U.S. dollars; the amount shown to you at purchase is the amount you are charged, in your local currency where applicable.
This is a subscription, not a donation. Payments for Premium Membership are consideration for access to the premium library. They are not gifts, donations, tips, or pledges, they are not charitable contributions, and they are not tax-deductible.
Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same monthly period, at the same price, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings or in Google Play subscriptions — including from inside the app at Settings → Membership → Manage. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten or refund the period you have already paid for, and your membership stays active until that period ends.
Changing your price. To change what you pay, cancel your current membership and subscribe again at the price you want. There is currently no way to change your price from within the app.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, not by us, and refunds are governed by their policies. Requests go to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play support. We will help where we can, but we cannot issue a refund for a purchase we did not process.
Changes to pricing. We may change the prices offered to new members. A price change never applies to an existing membership without your consent — if it would, you will be asked to agree before it takes effect, and declining simply leaves your current membership as it is.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. The two are held in different places: your account is ours, and your subscription is Apple's or Google's. Cancel the subscription in your store settings as a separate step.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time (see "Deleting Your Data" in the Privacy Policy for the account deletion process). Breathe With Me may suspend or terminate access to an account that violates these terms.
11. Disclaimers
The app and its content are provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Breathe With Me disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Breathe With Me does not warrant that the app will operate without interruption, that it will be error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Breathe With Me's total liability for any claim, damage, or loss arising from your use of the app is limited to the total amount you paid to Breathe With Me in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you have never paid for a membership, that amount is zero. In no event shall Breathe With Me be liable for incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
13. Changes to These Terms
Breathe With Me may update these terms from time to time. When a material change is made, the "Last revised" date at the top of this document will be updated. You may be prompted to review and acknowledge the updated terms within the app. Your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the app will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
